C errorprovider validating

I have a C# winform project that I want to validate a form before closing. However, I only want this validation to occur when I click a button. Now we need to create validating events for both text boxes.Right-click on the Text Box then click on "Properties"click on the lightening bolt (Events) icon at the top of the window, then double-click on validating event. The following code example demonstrates using the Error Provider class to notify the user of a data entry error. The example creates a Form that contains a Text Box control, a Numeric Up Down control, and a Combo Box control, each validating its content, and an Error Provider for each control.

You can also display a custom error image instead of the default image. This article should not be construed as a best practices white paper. This would disable the validation when I enter the button to click, then when clicked the cancel buttons click event can be fired and I can do whatever logic that is needed in there, including clearing the errors. Many icons typically have extra space around their central images, so the padding value is only necessary when additional space is necessary. Negative values cause the icon to overlap the edge of the control. You can use a Windows Forms Error Provider component to display an error icon when the user enters invalid data. You must have at least two controls on the form in order to tab between them and thereby invoke the validation code.
